Just over a year after breaking ground on their new $75 million proton therapy center in Wallingford, Hartford HealthCare (HHC) and Yale New Haven Health marked a major milestone in the project on Friday.
The state is serving up a new license plate to honor the “Pizza Capital of the United States.” On Monday, during an event held at Connecticut Foodshare in Wallingford, Gov. Ned Lamont unveiled the new specialty license plate that touts Connecticut as “The Pizza State” along the bottom, and has a graphic of a slice of pizza on the right.
Four warehouses have been proposed in Wallingford, with one recently receiving site plan approval and three more — proposed together in one project — still under consideration.
