We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Development/Sales professional to build strong client relationships in CT. In this role, you will be responsible for developing tailored project proposals for buildings ranging in cost to $10,000,000, presenting them to Owners and finalizing construction contracts. Preference is given to applicants with experience in estimating pre-engineered buildings and basic engineering knowledge. Work location is in person in Torrington, CT.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and present customized solutions.
• Develop comprehensive project proposals, including scope and cost estimates.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, marketing and operations to ensure project feasibility and successful execution.
• Identify new sales opportunities.
Qualifications
• Experience in project development or sales in the construction industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen actively and address client needs effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate proposal to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with sales processes, proposal writing, and negotiating strategies.
• Identify new sales opportunities.
