Tell us a bit about your recent accomplishments.
In 2015, Salamander Designs entered the commercial furniture market to promote our furniture systems in meeting and collaboration spaces. Meeting the demands of a new customer base has challenged us to improve our company in many ways. This expansion drove our entry into new product categories including ergonomic, motorized carts and stands for touchscreens and other large format video displays. We have also developed new, original solutions for meeting spaces, including conference and huddle tables. In addition to product innovation, Salamander has expanded our in-house manufacturing to allow for increased customization sought by our commercial clients worldwide.
Where do you see your business in the next five years?
We see opportunity to grow in the commercial market, with many conference rooms being built. We’d like to be part of that growth. We plan to expand our reseller network and product catalog. Part of our business is our support of technology, and that’s constantly changing. Embracing this evolution, we remain agile.
