Karishma Pinto is the newly appointed Web & Marketing Associate with The Connecticut Convergence Institute for Translation in Regenerative Engineering at UConn Health. She also works as game-day production staff at the Hartford Yard Goats, helping to produce their live TV broadcasts.
Pinto previously served as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator & Race Equity Lead at Leadership Greater Hartford where she played a key role in organically growing the organization’s brand awareness via social media.

What’s been your biggest professional/work accomplishment so far in your career?
In my previous role at Leadership Greater Hartford, I helped facilitate conversation and action towards becoming a more equitable organization as the Race Equity Lead. I also considerably grew the organization’s social media presence entirely organically and secured $10,000 a month in advertisement spending with Google Ad Grants.
