What have been your biggest professional accomplishments so far?
I oversee the coordination of 8 million home-care services annually, resulting in over $100 million in annual healthcare savings by delivering care where patients prefer to heal and age. Under my leadership, CareCentrix achieved a 96%+ member satisfaction rate, 88% provider satisfaction rate, and 99.7% on-time starts of care for patients.
What’s the next big goal you want to accomplish professionally?
I will expand care delivered safely in the home-care setting. Together with my team, we will launch an expansion of our home-care offerings to our patients.
I will also complete my in-progress doctorate degree in human resource leadership and apply my learnings to continuously enhance patient care.
What’s one of the biggest professional challenges you’ve overcome?
Early in my career, my department was disbanded, and we no longer had a position with the company. I learned the value of networking, leveraging my mentors, and the ability to remain positive and optimistic during a challenging time. I remain grateful for this experience and its life lessons.
How are you involved in the community?
I hold a board position for the Connecticut American Heart Association and serve on the executive committee for the Go Red for Women campaign, a role I’ve held for 10 years, raising $3 million. I am dedicated to raising awareness and funding research to combat heart disease and stroke.
What are your keys to maintaining business success?
My key to success is setting clear organizational goals and priorities, along with a robust plan to communicate, ingrain and monitor them throughout the organization.
Aligning team members’ key performance indicators to the company’s priorities is critically important. In addition, fostering a culture of inclusion and diverse thoughts is invaluable.
