As part of its employee-benefits package, Gallagher has partnered with Viverae, a Texas-based workplace wellness company to establish the “Gallagher Thrive” wellness program.
Gallagher Thrive focuses first on preventing health problems via biometric screenings and member health assessments available to employees and their dependents. The program puts an emphasis on education and behavior change partially through activities and events.
Activities meant to keep employees physically fit include “Walking Club,” on-site fitness classes and lunch and learns about nutrition, along with incentives like a raffle for a year of free health care for five employees who participate in Gallagher’s Renew Your Health program.
But it’s not all about physical prowess. Gallagher Thrive also works with employees to improve and maintain emotional and financial health.
