What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
Early in my career, I set a personal goal to build a strong relationship with a new client and bring a new project/pursuit to KBE – and ensure that project is a success for all. In 2020, I achieved that goal, far sooner than anticipated and I continue to bring back repeat clients by delivering on my promises.
How are you involved in the community?
I would love to see more females in the industry and as such, I’m a member of Professional Women in Construction and regularly attend events. I served on the mentorship committee and participated as a mentor for college students looking to pursue a career in the industry.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I tackle my second career as a mother of two young children, ages seven and six. Outside of spending time with my family, I love to spend time outdoors, play tennis and I’m an avid runner.
Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?
• Youngest member – and only woman – of the company’s Leadership Graduate Program designed to build the company’s future leaders.
• Builds lasting client relationships that result in new and repeat business for the company, including the recent award of a $80 million project.
• Improved work processes through new company standards, resulting in more efficient project delivery.
• Manages the preconstruction planning for highly-complex construction projects, developing an approach that ensures projects are completed on time and on budget.
Fun Fact
I have an extreme disdain for nearly all condiments – hate ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise.
