What have been your biggest professional accomplishments so far?
My proudest professional accomplishment is being named Whittlesey’s first chief marketing officer and building the firm’s marketing and communications strategy and team from the ground up. I lead a high-performing team and partner closely with firm leadership to strengthen the brand and drive growth.
By leveraging technology, data and digital platforms, our work helped propel revenue, improve efficiency and expand brand awareness. Equally meaningful to me is developing and mentoring talent across the firm by supporting growth opportunities, increasing visibility and helping others step into leadership roles through coaching and my involvement in the firm’s Women of Whittlesey group.
What’s the next big goal you want to accomplish professionally?
My next goal is to continue evolving in my role while remaining active in mentoring, board service and community engagement. I aim to help my team leverage AI and advanced analytics in marketing, establish clear growth paths and support the firm’s long-term vision and success.
What’s one of the biggest professional challenges you’ve overcome?
One of my biggest professional challenges occurred after I returned to a corporate environment, following over a decade as an entrepreneur, when the pandemic rapidly changed how we worked and communicated. The fast pace and uncertainty required flexibility, clear communication and resilience. I drew on my entrepreneurial experience to adapt quickly and collaborated closely with firm leaders to ensure clients and teams received timely, accurate guidance.
By adjusting our communications to meet evolving needs, we maintained trust and continued to move forward during constant change.
How are you involved in the community?
I serve on the board of End Hunger Connecticut!, a statewide anti-hunger and food security organization. I also volunteer as an alum, lead the firm’s annual United Way campaign, manage nonprofit sponsorships and coordinate our annual Community Day with my team.
