What makes you a Healthcare Hero?
I believe a Healthcare Hero creates lasting change that improves both patient care and the teams delivering it. As clinic supervisor, I oversee clinical services for approximately 500 patients in our medication-assisted treatment program.
In my role, I lead quality-improvement initiatives that significantly increased documentation compliance, strengthened staff accountability and streamlined clinical workflows. I expanded support for our pregnancy program, mentored clinicians and collaborated across disciplines to reduce barriers to care.
My focus is building systems that allow compassionate, evidence-based treatment to reach every patient while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Tell us about a challenge in your job that you were able to overcome.
One of my biggest challenges was improving documentation compliance while maintaining excellent patient care. By coaching staff, strengthening accountability and creating sustainable workflows, our team significantly improved performance without losing sight of what matters most — our patients.
What’s your next major goal?
My next goal is to continue developing strong clinical leaders while expanding innovative programs that improve access to treatment, patient engagement and long-term recovery outcomes. I want to help build systems that support both patients and the professionals who care for them.
