Masonicare is Connecticut’s largest not-for-profit provider of integrated senior health and aging services. Serving older adults and their families, Masonicare offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, behavioral health, homemaker and companion services, and community-based wellness programs.

Tell us a bit about your recent accomplishments.
Masonicare continues to strengthen its role as Connecticut’s largest not-for-profit provider of integrated senior health and aging services. Through expansion of our continuum and the addition of new communities, we broadened access across the full spectrum of care. We remain committed to offering a range of senior living price points to ensure options for all and to advancing our belief in “a Masonicare for everyone.”
Philanthropy advanced our mission in fiscal year 2025 with more than $1.1 million invested to support residents and patients in need. Funding provides essential therapy services for home health and hospice patients facing insurance gaps or financial barriers, as well as social and emotional care initiatives that enhance quality of life.
In addition, donations supported capital and community improvements, including the revitalization of a courtyard at Masonicare Health Center, a pavilion at our Mystic community, a golf simulator at Ashlar Village and holiday gifts for skilled nursing residents.
What are your plans for future growth?
Our focus is on meeting rising demand for high-quality senior living and care options by enhancing existing communities, strengthening service capacity and exploring opportunities for thoughtful expansion. We remain committed to creating places where older adults can thrive with dignity, independence, connection and purpose at every stage of aging.
