Founded in 2012, Access Health CT operates Connecticut’s health insurance exchange, serving residents who purchase private coverage.
Good Times: Two “family reunions” are held during work hours, one at Dunkin’ Park in the summer and another at a local restaurant during the holidays. Other activities include Friendsgiving, office decorating, twin-themed dress days and celebrations tied to software releases.

Employee Benefits: The company covers 95% of medical costs for employees and dependents, 100% of dental costs for employees and 82% for dependents, and 100% of vision costs for both. After five years of service, employees earn an additional five days of paid time off, bringing the total to 32 days.
