Jason Correia serves as a principal in CLA’s deal services practice in Connecticut, supporting private equity firms and family business owners through complex M&A transactions in the middle market.
Locally, he leads the firm’s private equity and deal services focus, while also serving as the national leader for the firm’s construction private equity segment. He helps clients evaluate opportunities, navigate diligence and help enhance value through pre- and post-transaction advisory.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
My biggest accomplishment has been serving as a leader within our private equity and deal services teams — both of which have been practice segments that achieved strong growth results for our firm (across the country) over the last five years.

How are you involved in the community?
I coach Little League Baseball and a winter basketball clinic in Woodstock. I also serve as the president of the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) CT chapter, an organization of multidisciplinary advisors that collaborate to support business owners across Connecticut during ownership transitions.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I spend time with my family. With three kids, that usually means getting them to their next activity, but when we have free time, it’s typically spent outdoors. I’m also a foodie, so I love to cook and try new restaurants and enjoy sharing that with others.
