Daniel Lamberton is director of operations at Pat Munger Construction Co. Inc. He began working for the company in 2007 and joined full-time after graduating in 2012.
Lamberton advanced from carpenter’s helper to superintendent, project manager and director of operations. He oversees company operations, manages construction projects, serves as a liaison to clients and leads safety initiatives.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
One of my proudest accomplishments has been transforming the director of operations role into a leadership position that strengthens communication, develops project teams and improves project execution. By aligning estimating, project management and field operations, I’ve helped create greater accountability, consistency and organizational growth.
How are you involved in the community?
I’m actively involved in the Guilford community through the Standing Building Committee and as a Guilford Little League coach. I volunteer with House of Heroes and Wishing Wheels, and raise funds for Yale Smilow Cancer Center through the Closer to Free Ride. I’m also a Vistage member and Eastern CT Leadership Program graduate.

What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughters. I enjoy coaching my daughters, hunting and fishing and just being outdoors with friends and family.
