Alison DiFlorio is vice president of Accounting Resources Inc. (ARI), where she has advanced from an entry-level role over an almost 15-year tenure. She oversees a portfolio of approximately 40 clients and leads accounting teams delivering financial reporting and advisory support across a diverse range of industries.
DiFlorio has played a key leadership role in the firm’s growth, contributing to a 2.5-fold revenue increase while overseeing firmwide initiatives related to process and technology improvement.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
I am most proud of my promotion to the leadership team after nearly 15 years at ARI. This milestone reflects my long-term commitment to the firm, my progression through increasingly complex roles, and the trust placed in me to lead and develop both teams and client relationships.

How are you involved in the community?
I serve as board treasurer for the Capital Child Development Center where I provide financial oversight and support strategic planning and governance. I am also a volunteer coach for my daughter’s softball team where I really enjoy helping foster teamwork and confidence while staying actively engaged in my community.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Tony, and our daughter, Alexis. When the weather allows, we’re often in the backyard grilling and enjoying time with family and friends. I also love playing golf and relaxing at the beach with a good book
