Donald Andrews is a commercial lender with 12 years of experience, including the past decade at Berkshire Bank. There, he manages a large middle market loan portfolio.
Over the years, he has played a significant role in hundreds of millions of dollars in loan relationships for the bank. His commitment and performance earned him four promotions, and he has successfully grown his loan and deposit portfolio to companies across Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
In 2024, I was proud to be a top contributor to one of the bank’s top-performing teams by significantly growing my portfolio. Providing essential capital and relationship focused banking solutions to businesses throughout the region contributes to economic vibrancy. That is incredibly rewarding.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I am involved in my local church and, most importantly, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and three young children. I am a big music fan and enjoy discovering new music and going to concerts. I have also played drums and trumpet for many years.
How are you involved in the community?
I volunteer with the Association for Corporate Growth to bring events and programming to the Greater Hartford area. I serve as a board member for the Exit Planning Exchange to provide educational programming to professional advisors in the region. I also volunteer regularly through the Bank’s Xtraordinary Day volunteer program.
Fun Fact: During college summers, I was a roadie in a punk band.
