What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

I, along with my mentors and colleagues at Rose Kallor, have litigated complex legal matters for government agencies. It’s an honor to work with public agencies because representing them has a broader purpose in serving the community because integral to such entities’ mission is public service.

Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?

• Became partner at Rose Kallor at age 29 and have significantly contributed to the expansion of our firm’s client base.

• Received the American Bar Association’s On The Rise-Top 40 Young Lawyers Award, a national recognition for exemplifying a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership and legal/community service.

• Assisted with the restoration of a civics education program, as a young lawyer leader, which continues to run in partnership with the Judicial Branch.

How are you involved in the community?

I’m starting my third term as co-chair of the Knight Hall School board of directors. I serve in leadership roles for the Connecticut Bar Association and American Bar Association, including both House of Delegates. I just finished serving as chair of the labor and employment law section of the CBA.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. I love to help my seven-year-old son and three-year-old daughter learn and grow through new experiences. In my spare time, I like to read, ride my Peloton and tend to my summer vegetable garden.

Fun Fact: I won my junior high spelling bee.
