April Norman is the director of construction for Comcast’s New England Region, which spans six states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont.
With 15-plus years at Comcast, she leads a team of 40 and drives broadband network expansion to bring Xfinity and Comcast Business connectivity products to communities previously unserved by Comcast. Since joining the company in 2010, Norman has advanced through roles in billing, finance, and construction, demonstrating leadership and operational excellence.
What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?
Leading cross-functional teams to advance leadership development and build strategic partnerships. By fostering a culture of integrity and transparency, I’ve empowered teams to collaboratively expand our network into hundreds of new communities – bringing our Xfinity and Comcast Business services to thousands of homes and businesses across New England.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I find joy in traveling with my husband, Mike, and our two children, Mikey and Kate. We cherish our family adventures and share new experiences as we find new places to explore.
How are you involved in the community?
I am actively engaged in community initiatives at Comcast, including volunteering at Fisher House and Wreaths Across America. Personally, I support charitable efforts for Clairvaux House, assisting homeless mothers and their children through fundraising and charity drives.
Fun Fact: I have a deep passion for the New York Mets, which I have passed on to my children; we rarely miss a chance to cheer them on at Citi Field!
