Taking lead at AmeriTech in 2022, DiSilvestro increased total sales from under $1 million to over $125 million.

What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

I took over AmeriTech as it faced closure with no backlog or revenue. Within two months, I secured $10 million in contracts.

Under my leadership, the company has grown from one employee to more than 70 in three years and has been transformed into a thriving, well-respected, fast-growing federal contracting business.

Why do you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty?

• Scaled AmeriTech from near-closure into a thriving federal construction firm, securing $125 million-plus in work and delivering impactful VA, DoD, and public-sector projects nationwide.

• Lead with purpose, mentoring emerging leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, discipline and ownership across a high-performing team that’s grown to more than 70 members in three years.

• Champions veteran hiring and community service through AmeriHope, a nonprofit I co-founded to support military families and drive grassroots outreach across Connecticut and beyond.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I prioritize time with my wife and sons, relaxing with our dogs and cheering on the Cowboys and Yankees. I also enjoy competitive sports such as softball, basketball, pickleball and golf.

How are you involved in the community?

I co-founded AmeriHope, a nonprofit supporting disabled veterans and their families, through which I hosted the first annual AmeriHope Golf Tournament fundraiser in 2025. I’m a lifetime member of EANGUS, NGACT, VFW and DAV, and a supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and Army Athletic Club at West Point.

Fun Fact: I played trumpet in a band that went on Warped Tour 2004.
