This no-purchase-necessary promotion invites eligible Connecticut-based, for-profit small businesses to share the journey behind their business in an original essay of up to 500 words.

Entries are open from January 12 through March 16, 2026, and will be judged on storytelling quality, creativity, pride, and community commitment.

One standout business will receive a full-page Hartford Business Journal ad plus 12 months of free Cash Management Services from Torrington Savings Bank, helping amplify their story and reach new audiences.

When you submit your entry into the Contest it must meet all requirements noted within to qualify. What’s Your Story?
