The 2026 MahoneySabol 5K will once again engage the community by hosting runners and walkers at TPC River Highlands on April 25th! Through the partnership with the Hartford Marathon Foundation, participants will be able to participate in the Kids Run, 1 Mile Fitness Walk or the 5K Road Race. Following the run/walk, the event will feature a post-race celebration with local food and beverages, as well as fun kids’ activities!

Proceeds will benefit the Hospital for Special Care Neuromuscular care center, the largest of its type in Connecticut treating all levels of neuromuscular diseases including ALS (of which HFSC is a center of excellence), Parkinson’s, neuropathy and movement disorders including MD and other general neuromuscular disorders.
