For the first time since 2019, the House of Bread will hold its iconic annual fundraiser, the Hunger Banquet, in person! (For the past 6 years, the Hunger Banquet has been a drive-through event.) Tickets are $50 per person, and guests will be served a simple meal of minestrone soup, bread, water, and an apple. All proceeds will benefit the House of Bread’s eight different food, shelter, and education programs in the North and South Ends of Hartford — where demand is growing every day.
