Global Supply Chain Forum 2026: Building Resilient, Inclusive and Technology-Enabled Supply Chains: From Local Operations to Global Networks
Quinnipiac University will host a two-day forum, “Building Resilient, Inclusive, and Technology-Enabled Supply Chains: From Local Operations to Global Networks,” on April 22–23, at its School of Business on the Mount Carmel Campus, 275 Mount Carmel Ave. This event is free and open to the public.
Organized by the school’s Management Department, the forum will bring together industry leaders, faculty and students to explore how organizations can design stronger, more adaptive supply chains amid global disruption, rapid digital transformation and evolving supplier relationships.
The event will examine the critical role of collaboration, transparency and emerging technologies in strengthening supply chains and improving long-term competitiveness. Through a mix of panel discussions and expert presentations, participants will gain practical insights into real-world challenges and strategies shaping modern supply chain management.
“Supply chains today are being tested like never before,” said Iddrisu Awudu, professor of management at Quinnipiac, an organizer of the event. “This forum creates an opportunity to connect industry expertise with academic insight, preparing students and professionals to lead in a complex and rapidly changing global environment.”
Yan Jin, associate professor of management at Quinnipiac and co-organizer of the forum, said, “Modern supply chains are more interconnected and complex than ever. By bringing together practitioners and scholars, this event highlights innovative strategies, emerging technologies, and inclusive practices that help organizations remain agile and competitive in today’s global marketplace.”
The forum will focus on key themes including resilient and adaptive supply chains, digital integration and data-driven decision-making, ethical supplier relationships and governance, and the intersection of global and local supply chain dynamics.
Sessions on Wednesday, April 22 will highlight topics such as healthcare supply chain integration, ethical sourcing and blockchain applications, and co-creation strategies between suppliers and buyers. Speakers include industry leaders from organizations such as Yale New Haven Health, Hartford HealthCare, Pratt & Whitney and ASML, alongside academic experts.
On Thursday, April 23, discussions will turn to regional and global perspectives, including supply chain challenges facing Connecticut manufacturers and strategies for managing international risks and disruptions.
The forum will take place in Quinnipiac’s newly opened School of Business, a state-of-the-art academic facility designed to foster innovation, collaboration and experiential learning. The modern space features cutting-edge technology, flexible classrooms and dedicated areas for industry engagement, reflecting the university’s commitment to preparing students for the evolving demands of the global business landscape.
The forum is designed for a broad audience, including supply chain and logistics professionals, procurement and operations leaders, technology and analytics specialists, as well as students and faculty across business disciplines. Attendees will also have opportunities to network and build partnerships with peers and industry experts.
By fostering dialogue between academia and industry, the event supports student learning in strategic decision-making, analytical thinking and ethical supply chain management, while helping organizations navigate an increasingly complex global landscape.
