Honoring Innovation, Leadership, and Community Impact Across Connecticut

The event, presented by Berkshire Bank, celebrates Connecticut’s most exceptional businesses, recognizing their achievements, innovation, and meaningful contributions to the state’s economy and communities.
Honoring both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, family businesses, and women- owned enterprises, the evening will showcase the strength and resilience of companies of all sizes and sectors. While the Family Business Awards were previously a standalone event, we are excited to integrate them as a category for this new awards event to provide a more prominent platform for the family-run enterprises that drive our state forward.
By highlighting outstanding performance, leadership, and commitment to positive change, the event aims to inspire continued growth and collaboration across Connecticut’s vibrant business landscape. 

Honorees will be recognized in our August 24 publication, in print and online, and will be celebrated at an awards event on September 30.

The winners will be recognized from the following categories:

Categories: 1-50 employees, 51-250 employees, 250+ employees
(includes part & full time employees)

For-profit Businesses of the Year
Nonprofits of the Year
Family Businesses of the Year
Woman-owned Businesses of the Year

Nomination Criteria:
Headquarters/Base of operations located in Connecticut
Self nomination is allowed
Nonprofits must have a valid 501(c)(3)
Family businesses must be family owned
Woman-owned businesses: At least 51% of the business is owned and controlled by women
