Aurora’s Luminary Celebration spotlights the community supporters who help to create opportunities for women and girls to shine, and the incredibly inspiring women who are empowered by those educational and economic opportunities. Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas, the first Black person elected to this position in CT, will be the keynote speaker. Funds raised will support Aurora’s community investments, particularly its College Success programs and its ongoing research and advocacy for women and girls in Greater Hartford.
