2026 MCC Construction Expo & Matchmaker
The Minority Construction Council (MCC), Inc. will host its 10th annual MCC Construction Expo and Matchmaker on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Alvin and Beatrice Wood Human Services Center, 330 Park Avenue, Bloomfield, CT 06002. The event will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This year’s theme, “Creating Connections That Build Opportunities,” starts with meaningful conversations between Developers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Municipalities, Small/Minority and Women-Owned Business Construction Contractors, Government Agencies, and Resource Partners. The Expo celebrates the leaders, innovators, and changemakers who create access, forge meaningful connections, and help pave the way for small businesses in the construction industry. This event is free to Small, MBEs, DBEs, and WBEs. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in one-on-one Matchmaker Sessions with selected Construction Managers and General Contractors. It will also allow small contractors to exhibit and showcase their capabilities and create pathways to new business opportunities. The MCC is a non-profit organization committed to empowering minority-owned construction businesses throughout the State of Connecticut by providing technical assistance, safety and professional development training, advocacy, and access to contracting opportunities.
