Connecticut’s efforts to sustain its defense-manufacturing sector will take it to the nation’s capitol midweek, as 15 companies meet with defense procurement officials from 22 countries representing potentially billions in future sales of goods and services, authorities say.
In near unanimous support, the state Bond Commission on Tuesday morning greenlit dozens of projects worth tens of millions of dollars, mainly geared toward transportation and economic-development initiatives.
