Middlefield optical instruments and systems manufacturer Zygo Corp. said it’s received a $3 million order from a consumer products maker for its production process control tools.
Zygo said the order comes after two years of collaboration with the customer, which it did not name.
The order is a precursor to the customer’s eventual deployment of the tools on four continents, the company said.
