Former Hartford Business Journal Publisher and owner Joseph Zwiebel is returning to the Hartford market in a new business development role with a local nonprofit.
Zwiebel has been named director of development and communications for Hartford Promise, a nonprofit that provides college scholarships to Hartford students.
Zwiebel founded HBJ in 1992, and went on to create HBJ’s parent company, New England Business Media in 2007. Zwiebel sold his interest in the company in June 2020, to current Publisher Tom Curtin.
Most recently, Zwiebel served as director of new product development for Business News, a regional business publisher headquartered in Perth, West Australia.
