Zen Leaf Norwich dispensary opens to the public today as the first social equity joint venture in the state from multistate operator Verano Holdings.
Verano Holdings’ third adult-use dispensary in Connecticut opens at 606 W Main St., Norwich, and will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The new dispensary is the first of six social equity joint ventures the Chicago-based multistate operator is planning to open in Connecticut over the next several months.
Norwich-local Brittany Hart is Zen Leaf Norwich’s general manager and social equity partner, the company told the Hartford Business Journal.
Currently, the company operates two other cannabis dispensaries in the state: a hybrid retail store in Meriden and a medical-use only facility in Waterbury. The company also owns the cultivation and processing facility CTPharma in Rocky Hill.
