Wallingford hemostatic gauze manufacturer Z-Medica said it has signed a deal to sell its QuikClot product line through a distributor that serves the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal facilities.
The distributor is Virginia-based Tryco, which procures medical products for veterans and active-duty military members.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Z-Medica said the deal will bring its products into VA hospitals and possible military treatment facilities. It does not involve any of Z-Medica’s existing military sales channels.
