YWCA’s 142nd Annual Meeting

YWCA Hartford Region held its 142nd Annual Meeting at TheaterWorks’ “City Arts on Pearl.” More than 120 people were in attendance as the YWCA presented its Creating Opportunities Awards honoring those who have made a significant contribution to YWCA’s mission of empowering women and eliminating racism. The award recipients were Prudential Retirement, Corporate Award; Debra Palermino, Leadership Award; and Knox Parks Foundation, Business Partner Award. Griffin and Thibeault received the Creating Opportunities award on behalf of Prudential Retirement for their generosity and commitment to the mission of YWCA through philanthropic giving and countless hours of employee service.
