Vincent Petrini has been elected chairman of the Albertus Magnus College Board of trustees, effective Jan. 1, 2020. He succeeds Jeanne M. Dennison (AMC 1978), who has chaired the board since 2015.
An AMC trustee since 2014, Petrini is senior vice president of public affairs for the Yale New Haven Health system. He joined YNHH in 2003 after serving as chief public affairs officer for Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Petrini previously served as president and principal of Tactical Communications Group and as director of communications for the Regional Transportation Authority in Chicago, Ill., the second largest mass transit system in the nation. He was graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in communications, and earned an MBA from the same school in 1993.

Todd Sloan
Todd Sloan has been appointed vice president for development and alumni affairs at Quinnipiac University. He replaces Don Weinbach, who earlier this year announced his retirement after nearly 24 years. Sloan comes to QU from American University, where he was assistant vice president for development. Before that Sloan worked in development positions at Pennsylvania State University, most recently as executive director of fundraising across multiple colleges. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Penn State.

Hector J. Morales has been elected to a two-year term as a director of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. Morales was recently promoted to vice president/branch manager of Patriot Bank’s Orange office at 7 Old Tavern Road.
