Simsbury health app maker Yingo Yango said it has partnered with a Colorado company that makes cost-comparison software for prescription medications to determine if a doctor is prescribing a more expensive medication when a cheaper one would be equally effective.
Yingo Yango said its employers and health system customers will be able to access medication cost and quality information through RxREVU’s application programming interface.
Yingo Yango’s app links users to health resources available through their employer to manage various health conditions.
RxREVU said the integration should be complete and available to Yingo Yango customers by the end of June.
