The Hartford Yard Goats will host the Chesapeake Baysox on April 2 to kick off their 10th season at Dunkin’ Park.
Fans are again able to park within a block of the ballpark for $5 through a continued partnership with LAZ Parking, the Hartford Parking Authority and Propark, the team announced.
The Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies opens its season at 7:10 p.m. against the Baltimore Orioles affiliate, with single-game tickets, season plans and group packages on sale through the team’s website and box office.
The $5 parking option — available at four lots and garages accessible from Interstate 84 and Interstate 91 — returns from last season as part of what the club is billing as a “fan-friendly commuter plan” that includes 100 bike racks at the ballpark and bus connections via CTfastrak and Hartford Line transit service.
There is free parking at CTfastrak stations in New Britain, Newington and West Hartford.
The four $5 lots are located at 300 Market St., 285 Church St. (Saints Lot), 155 Morgan St. and 275 Windsor St. Fans can pre-pay through the Yard Goats website or the LAZgo app.
The home opener launches a 2026 season built around the ballpark’s 10-year anniversary, featuring 23 postgame fireworks shows, a Hartford Whalers Alumni Game on July 31, throwback games played under the Hartford Rock Cats name in late May and a David Ortiz bobblehead giveaway.
The club also enters the season under a new manager, Robinson Cancel, a Puerto Rican former major leaguer who spent nine years coaching in the Rockies’ system before taking over Hartford’s dugout this year.
