MBA students from the Yale School of Management have won the ACG Connecticut Cup title, beating out three other teams from some of Connecticut’s top business schools.
The teams from Yale, UConn, Sacred Heart University, Quinnipiac University presented valuation, capital markets and M&A strategic advice to a panel of seasoned M&A professionals.
UConn students placed in the competition followed by Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac.
Participants in the ACG Connecticut Cup 2011 included:
- 1st Place. Â Yale University, School of Management: Michael Barjum, Tugce Dursun, Alejandro Palacio and Jesse Yao
- 2nd Place. Â University of Connecticut, School of Business: Oana Dancescu, Rosita Katsi, Shripurna Kulkarni, James Londono and Matt Weier
- 3rd Place. Â Sacred Heart University, John F. Welch College of Business: Jim Carroccia, Mark Galletta, Craig Garvey, Andria McBride and Rick Southard
- 4th Place. Quinnipiac University, School of Business: Kyle Sleczkowski, Christopher Swanson, Thomas Vara and Steven Woodhull
