Yale-New Haven Hospital has topped the latest annual list of best-performing hospitals in Connecticut, released this week by U.S. News & World Report.
The New Haven hospital received national rankings in 10 specialties, including 6th place in the country in diabetes and endocrinology. It was the only hospital out of the nine ranked in Connecticut to be nationally ranked in any specialty category, an honor shared by approximately 3 percent of hospitals ranked by the magazine.
Meanwhile, Hartford Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital took second and third place, respectively, in Connecticut.
