Yale New Haven Health (YNHH) marked the official rebranding of its urgent care centers on Wednesday with the opening of its newest location in Fairfield.
The new facility at 340 Grasmere Ave., is the first to open under the newly rebranded name, Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care, after the health system acquired PhysicianOne Urgent Care last year.
Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care now has 23 locations in Connecticut, providing treatment for illness and injury, as well as X-ray services and rapid PCR testing for COVID-19, RSV and the flu.
The Fairfield location will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays, officials said. Patients can walk in or reserve an in-person or virtual telehealth appointment online at https://ynhhs.org/urgentcare.
Telehealth virtual appointments enable patients to speak with experienced medical providers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care locations accept most major insurance plans and offer affordable self-pay rates for patients without insurance.
