Yale MBA team wins ACG title

A four-student team from Yale’s School of Management took top prize in the inaugural ACG Connecticut Cup competition.

The Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) sponsored the competition involving teams from three of the state’s biggest business schools. The teams consisted of graduate students in the masters of business administration program at the schools.

In addition to the silver cup, the Yale squad received $1,000. Yale team members were Ashish Gupta, Michael Barjum, Jessica Hans, Mo Zhou.

Second place and $500 went to the University of Connecticut School of Business team, consisting of Julia Yelevich, Jason Moss, Oana Dancescu, Dale Walter

Quinnipiac University School of Business was third and collected $250. Team members were Daniel Erdelyi, Shu Li, Geris Papajani, Josh Curry.

All three teams presented presented valuation, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions advice to a panel of veteran mergers and acquisitions experts.
