Marna P. Borgstrom, president and CEO of Yale-New Haven Hospital, will keynote Quinnipiac University’s 2011 graduate commencement at 10 a.m. Sunday in the TD Bank Sports Center on Quinnipiac’s York Hill Campus in Hamden.
More than 600 students will receive graduate degrees from Quinnipiac’s schools of business, communications, education, health sciences and from and from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Borgstrom oversees the 966-bed Yale-New Haven Hospital, including the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, the Yale-New Haven Hospital Psychiatric Hospital and the newly opened Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven.
The Yale New Haven Health System, of which Yale-New Haven Hospital is the founding member, has more than $2.2 billion in revenues and employs more than 13,000 people. The system includes Bridgeport and Greenwich Hospitals and the Northeast Medical Group, a physician foundation.
