Ohio chain retailer Marc Glassman Inc. reportedly will close in April its Xpect Discount food and drug store in Derby, idling 58 workers.
According to a WARN filing with the Connecticut Department of Labor, the store at 60 Pershing Drive will idle the worker on or about April 7.
The filing did not indicate whether the store is closing. But The New Haven Register and Connecticut Post report the store will close.
Marc Glassman, based in Cleveland, did not immediately respond to a call Wednesday for comment.

The other Connecticut Xpect stores, including Danbury, Middletown, Milford and North Haven, are unaffected, authorities say.
