Insurer XL Group PLC, with Hartford operations, says it won clearance to set up property-casualty operations in Brazil.
XL Group said Thursday the Brazilian insurance regulators gave final approval to establish XL Seguros Brasil S.A. in Sao Paulo.
Expected to start operations in the first quarter, the Brazil office will be led by Juan Bragadin.
