The company that manages several large venues in the state is hoping to hire at least 70 part-time employees to work at Pratt & Whitney Stadium and the XL Center during a job fair scheduled for later this week.
OVG360, which manages the XL Center, Pratt & Whitney Stadium and Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, is hosting a job fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Pratt & Whitney Stadium, 615 Silver Lane, East Hartford.
Pratt & Whitney Stadium in particular is preparing for its busy season during the fall, with an exhibition soccer match between the USMNT and Germany on the horizon and UConn Football just a few weeks away.
Interviews will be held on-site during the fair, and OVG360 said it hopes to hire 40 people for guest services or security positions and another 30 for food and beverage positions.
Positions are located at both the XL Center and Pratt & Whitney Stadium, so eligible employees must be able to work at both, according to OVG360. A CT State Guard Card is needed for security positions.
