XL Center happy hour aims to whet appetites for hockey

The XL Center is introducing a new “hockey happy hour” to drive more fans to games.

Spectra Venue Management and Spectra Food Services & Hospitality, which operates the venue’s Comcast Coliseum Club Restaurant, said starting Tuesday, it will provide $2 domestic beers and $5 appetizers to ticketed fans who arrive before the puck drops at all Hartford Wolf Pack and UConn hockey games.

The happy hour will begin two hours before all hockey games and end as each game starts.

The restaurant is on the 200 suite level, which can be accessed using the Trumbull Street entrance.

The Comcast Coliseum Club is the XL Center’s largest premium seating area with a private entrance and full service bar.
