Insurer XL Capital Ltd., with operations in Hartford, declared dividends on its outstanding ordinary and preference shares.
XL will pay 10 cents on each ordinary share on March 31 to shareholders of record as of March 15.
It also will pay $32.50 on each of its series E preference shares on April 15 to shareowners of record on April 14. The insurer said $32.5 million has been set aside for the series E payout.
