Xerox unit buying benefits manager

Affiliated Computer Services, a unit of Norwalk printer and copier maker Xerox Corp., said Tuesday that it’s buying employee benefits company ExcellerateHRO LLP from Hewlett-Packard Co.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ExcellerateHRO, which provides employee benefits information globally and offers relocation services, boosts the position of ACS as an administrator of worker benefits.

The acquisition is the first for ACS since Xerox bought the company in February.
