Norwalk’s Xerox Corp. has acquired a British office printing consulting-software services firm to expand its managed print services brand.
Sale price wasn’t revealed for NewField IT, of Twickenham, England.
Newfield’s software maps the layout of office printers and copiers to show how they are used throughout an office to get a better handle on efficiency and costs, Xerox said.
Newfield will operate as a Xerox subsidiary, keeping its U.K. headquarters and U.S. operations base in Philadelphia.Â
