Xerox acquires Newington-based Co.

Connecticut Business Systems, a Newington-based photocopier and imaging equipment seller, will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corp. Connecticut Business Systems’ parent company, Global Imaging Systems, was recently acquired by Xerox for $1.5 billion. Connecticut Business Systems said it will retain its independent approach to selling – it sells non-Xerox products – but will add Xerox equipment into its sales portfolio.
