Middletown’s Xavier High School has promoted Gregory Brinn from assistant director for annual giving and alumni relations to director of advancement.
Brinn has worked in the alumni relations office for 18 months, managing the school’s annual fund and donor relationships. He previously was major gifts officer at Central Connecticut State University. He worked for nine years for Yale’s athletics department.
He succeeds Matthew Strekel, who accepted a job at Williams School in New London.
