X-ray manufacturer buys Madison property

Precision X-Ray recently bought a 41,718-square-foot light industrial building on a 4-acre parcel at 14 New Rd. in Madison for $2.1 million.

The company, long based in North Branford, manufactures X-ray systems for preclinical, pharmaceutical, scientific and industrial applications.

Viktoriya Baytser, the company’s CEO, said in an announcement the company is “growing and evolving.”

“Our decisions cannot be good enough for today; they have to help us answer the challenges of tomorrow just as much,” Baytser said. “We are so happy to call Madison our new home, a community we want to grow with and into as we maintain our drive for innovation.”

Fred A. Messore, senior vice president of Colonial Properties Inc. of Orange, represented Precision X-Ray in the deal. John Keogh of Colliers International represented the seller, Stone Heron LLC.
