WWE sets dividend

WWE, also known as World Wrestling Entertainment, declared dividends of 36 cents a share to all holders of its Class A stock, except for shares held by members of the McMahon family.

The Stamford live-action and syndicated TV wrestling and entertainment promoter said it will pay the dividend on March 25 to stockholders of record as of March 15.

The McMahons, including former U.S. senate GOP candidate Linda McMahon and husband Vince, have waived 12 cents a share of the dividend on the Class A and Class B shares they own. Instead, they will receive 24 cents a share on their holdings on the payment date, the company says.
